There are twelve signs in Vedic astrology and each sign is called “rashi” in Sanskrit. The rashi is determined by the moon’s position at the time of birth. Some Vedic astrologers claim the moon sign describes a person’s state of emotions and potential personality traits. Singh, Sinnh or Simha corresponds to the sign of Leo.
Leo or Singh Rashi Personality Traits
Some born under Leo can be self-assured, dignified, generous, courageous, affectionate, proud and charming. Many Singh rashis are ambitious and possess a lot of energy enabling them to accomplish a great deal. Often talented, some even work in occupations related to acting and they can take the limelight on social occasions. A typical Singh is outspoken, and may even appear brash and offensive at time.
Many born under this sign possess a strong sense of style, and if not careful, they can be easily attracted to the rich and famous, becoming enamoured by material wealth and luxury.
Some enjoy sports, particularly activities that require a lot of strength and energy. A classic Singh rashi has a natural penchant for leadership and combined with their enthusiasm, ambition and determination to succeed they often do well in life. Ruled by the sun, many of this rashi are warm and kind yet they may think themselves to be indispensable and inflate their importance. In love many are considerate and woo their lover with style, taking them out and giving them many gifts. Compatible life partners are fire signs Mesh (Aries) and Dhan (Sagittarius), as well as fellow Leos.
